Mario Moraes Helps ‘Make-A-Wish’

Mario Moraes helped make a little boy named Cole Collins wish come true. His wish was to “go fast in a race car.” He did just that at the Homestead-Miami Speedway this past weekend. Collins has Duchenne muscular dystrophy and got his wish granted thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He spent a good amount of time riding shotgun in the Indy Racing Experience street-legal two-seater around the track with Mario. He even had a custom racing suit made by Hinchman Racewear. Talk about a dream come true!
Moraes was eager to help when he heard of little Collins wish. Mario lost his father to cancer recently and felt a connection with the boy’s situation. “Stay strong, my friend” he said to Cole after the full day of racing oriented activities.
