Nascar Eying Biofuels
Alright, We have know for a long, long time that Nascar has been trying to “green up” its image, We even featured at post on this whole subject yesterday, but new developments have arose since that short amount of time.
According to a USA today article, nascar manufacturers understand the issues nascar is going to face in the coming years. In alleged rumors by the post, They claim that nascar will be trying to raise its MPG ratings in all there racing blocks by 10 points. Now this might seem like an impossible challenge, but it looks like Ford, Dodge, Toyota, and Chevy have been testing hybrid and ethanol racing engines.
But it might not be nascar fault for the green change. Many teams might be thinking that saving the fuel will help nascars popularity, and will lower the heat and pressure from the green peace people. Still, it ought to be interesting to see whether or not this story develops any further.
