American Oldest Race Track Could Be Dieing Very Soon

Since the 1930′s, the so called “Milwaukee Mile” has been home raceing. It is on record, the oldest operating race track still left operating in America today. However, that fact might soon be changing this winter if some changes are not made.

This story all starts with the tracks renovation project. This event turned the old beaten track into something more modern that the fans and the racers would like more and it did work. Everyone who has ever been to the monster mile has loved the experience. This renovation though left the track in a lot of debt that the owners couldn’t pay off. Through the years, the track exchanged hands over and over, yet the money was never payed back.

And that is where we are today. The last company that owned the track (Wisconsin Motorsports, LLC) ceased operations which left nascar with a lot of debt. After this event nascar announced that they would not hold an event at the track until the debt was payed off. Since then, company’s have come and gone with still no answer to the problem, leaving nascar with only one solution. Closing Americas oldest track.
