Nascar won’t be going to the Bluegrass State Anytime Soon

For a lot of fans and past nascar racers, the one thing that they really wanted to see out of the sport was a Sprint cup race in the Bluegrass state. I’m talking about Kentucky Speedway of course. For a long time, the track has held small time race events, to nascar nationwide series races. The comon comment from every racer after the event was that they loved the track, they loved the atmosphere it gave of before the race. And the fans also agree, if you ever go to a race at Kentucky Speedway, you are going to be impressed.

These were all reasons for the owners of the track to push for a nascar event. Not just a Nationwide one, but a full on Sprint cup one. However, nascar said no and this made the owners think that they were being upheld by nascar and ISC.

Unfortunately for Kentucky, the judge didn’t see it that way. But after years of fighting, we now have a final ruling. It looks like the track wont be hosting a nascar event anytime soon.
