Kamui Kobayashi Joins Sauber For The 2010 Season

Kamui Kobayashi proudly announced on thursday December 17 that he had reached a contract agreement with Sauber GP and will be one of the lead drivers for the team in the 2010 season. Kobayashi isn’t a name well known around the Formula 1 grid, after all he was a backup driver for the late departed Toyota team. However, when he was allowed to run in the last two races of the season, many other teams finally got to see what this guy could do.

That is the main reason why Sauber GP hired him to race, they feel that he is a young talent that already has all the skills necessary to win races.  Kobayashi already is a decorated racer, he has wins in the Formula 3, and Formula 2 series and an F2 championship as well. But as for him, this is his dream. To run with a well known F1 team that could possibly put him in a position to do very well in the 2010 season.
