Motocross Champion’s bike get’s Stolen
Dean Hewitson’s bike was stolen yesterday. The motocross champion’s Kawasaki 250cc was stolen from the garage that was in the back yard of the young motocross racer’s home.
The 18 years old, who has been racing since he was 9 year old said, “I feel totally gutted. This is the first bike I have bought for myself and I had a great year on it last season. I can’t believe someone would steal my bike. I have worked so hard to try to make a name for myself.”
The motocross rider out of England just got $15000 worth of sponsorship from his employer, Gates Tyres, to help him this season. Hewitson might not even race this season because of the loss of his bike.
Hewitson said, “Bikes are really expensive and my family don’t have the money to buy a new one. I don’t know what I’ll do if I can’t ride this season. Right now I’m just hoping the police are able to find my bike.”
