I bought this when my baby was about 2 months and she wasnt particularly interested in the black-white side (I thought she’d be fascinated by the pattern). I put it away and brought it out again when she was four months. Turns out she is more interested in the animal side. She chatters away to the creatures and loves to grab for the rattles/squeeker etc. She loves it so much, would recommend this for others.
Also, it is machine washable which is always a plus and easy to take along with you where ever you go.

Perfect for baby – newmom26 –
I was looking for a toy for my 5 week old son. A toy that would stimulate and meet his growing curiosity without being too visually overwhelming. The moment he saw this toy, he loved it and could hardly take his eyes off it. I’ve put it standing up on one side of his play gym and he spends most of his time just starring and “talking” to it.

My son is just under a month old, and loves this toy. The black and white toys are really the only things that get his attention at this point. I imagine he’ll probably enjoy the other side once he is a little older, but for now the black and white side really keeps his attention.
Great attention grabber – HMR – Virginia
This is a great item to grab your little one’s interest. I have used it in the crib and pack and play to help stimulate him and keep him occupied. It’s nice because one side is black and white visualizations and the other side has puzzle like pieces that fit into their homes. The “puzzle pieces” flip over to the black and white side to create even more visual stimulation for him. Definitely recommend.
