I was initially very excited to buy and was happy when I installed it. Then I saw the awful image quality. It was so much different that the advertisement. The picture quality was so poor. I could only see from far as you cant zoom. The connection with the network is lost almost daily. Then you have to stand like an idiot for a minute or two to synchronize. I just found out also that there a yearly fee after the initial year. overall, unpleasant experience.

After purchasing this product (and subsequently two extra cameras), I came to the Amazon.com website to write an outstanding review. However, after reading other reviews, I can only bump up my review from “outstanding” to “outstanding plus”.
The cameras do exactly what are proclaimed on the website. They allow you to look inside your house from virtually anywhere on Earth. How do I know this is true? Because I spent the last several months overseas with the US Military and “peeked” in on my dogs and family from time to time. The system does exactly what it is supposed to do… give you an eye inside your home or whereever you point the cameras.
My favorite part of the system is being able to do all of this from my iPhone. Not only is this extremely practical for viewing from abroad, it also makes good sense to hold the iPhone in your hand while you adjust the cameras.
I have a security system in place as well as the camera system. If the alarm goes off, it notifies me on my iPhone. I then switch over to MyVue and see what is happening inside. If I ever see someone ransacking my home, I will certainly dial 911 and give them an accurate description as to what is taking place inside. Heck, I can even give the Police my web login and let them look inside my home from their laptop computers or even their own iPhones! Talk about officer safety… By the way, my security company offers cameras and remote viewing also… for over 10 times the cost!
As far as technical prowess, I have none. However, I found the cameras EXTREMELY easy to set up and use. It took me longer to figure out where to place the cameras than it did to set them up.
I can highly recommed this system to anyone who needs to “check up on their home / office / etc” from time to time. The cameras work great, the battery life is excellent, and I was more than pleased not having to wire them into the house.
Outstanding product from an outstanding company!

I have had a great time using this product. Especially with the iPhone App. When we go away I see my dogs running around the house, and I make sure that the housekeeper doesn’t leave the front door open when she leaves. It’s truly unique and wonderful!

I received this package directly from the company which offered Free Shipping but now it has been reduced on Amazon which makes it a better deal than what I paid.
The setup was easy and I was up and running within 10 minutes. They shipped me 4 lithium batteries when I was expecting 2…so that was an unexpected surprise! Considering that you are getting only 2 cameras it’s not much to expect. They should give you at least 3 cameras or at best an incentive to purchase an additional 2 at a reduced rate. $100.00 a piece is a lot for these cameras….There’s not much to them which is good and bad. The cameras are very small and unobtrusive….easy to mount. My router is located in my basement and the cameras are mounted in the upper portion of my house. No connectivity problems. Everything works as expected.
What I like best is the iPhone App which allows me to check in on my house while I am on the road…virtually from anywhere that my phone is receiving a data signal…I am using a 1st generation iPhone which makes the initial connection a bit sluggish…but I have just reserved the new iPhone and I am expecting better efficiency. The website was easy to navigate and register. My only complaints are the price of the cameras and the battery usage when engaging the system….it would have been nice to have at least a 3 camera out-of-box configuration. Otherwise a low cost system which will able you to “check-in” and monitor your home or apartment.

The only positive I can think of is ease of viewing. Once you’ve synced with the router, you go up online to view the camera. That said, everything else is negative. In no particular order: Their description says the batteries last a year. They don’t say that means 5 minutes of streaming a day. I can get a bar of soap to last a year, if I only use it once a week
Their user guide says you can schedule 5 or 15 minutes in the future of the current time. Nope, you have to schedule recording at least 60 minutes in the future, or you get an (unexplained either in the user guide or the ‘help section’) error message. BTW, you can’t record a streaming video for more than 4 hours a day. And, if you stream from the same camera for a few days, the $20 battery will need to be replaced. Also, you can only schedule one camera to record at a time. Oh, and if the scheduled time is approaching, you can’t use the other cameras (I had 3 total) to stream before, during and slightly after your scheduled recording time. Tech support is via email; and was not aware of the above problems until I pointed them out. So, let’s sum up: Cameras don’t record as implied. Camera live viewing time is not as implied. Cameras need at least a 40 watt room light on, for interior views to be usable. Cameras should only be streamed 5 minutes per day (if you want to get a year out of the batteries). User quide and help section woefully incomplete. Tech support slow and unknowledgeable. Sorry, I work way too hard for my money to waste it on this beta product. Great idea. Really poor execution.
