I bought mine in late 2004. I can’t even remember where. It’s still going strong. The permanent filter has some fraying, from cleaning, but other than I noticed it, it’s not an issue. Every morning while getting ready I start it just before my final bathroom touch up, when finished, I add creamer, snap on the lid, grab my purse and head out the door. It sits in my cup holder and stays warm for the one hour commute. I highly recommend this coffee maker. When mine stops working I intend to buy another. Be careful, if you’re sleepy you might forget to put the mug under the brewer. lol I’ve also forgotten to put the coffee in the basket. I’ve forgotten to take it altogether, and spent my commute thinking of my delicious cup of coffee, sitting on my kitchen counter without me.
