Depending on one’s purpose, looking back can be good or bad. One can look back with all the extra luggage of ill feelings towards another. That is bad. That simply means an unforgiving soul that won’t let go. If one can’t forgive and forget, how can his/her trespasses be forgiven and forgotten? See, it works for our own good to forgive and forget….but remember the lesson behind. That’s the only good thing about looking back at negative effects.
Looking back is good when you count your blessings. It’s even good to have a notebook of blessings so everytime you receive one, you can easily jot it down. Blessings are not limited to tangible items like money. The tangibles are not limited to food, clothing and shelter either.
