I can’t wait till it’s legal. It’s about more than just being able to smoke weed. My little brother is in jail for the next 3 years because he grew a plant. After watching what they did to him because he wouldn’t accept their “deal”. I’m convinced it’s nothing more than a cash cow to our government.
People that don’t smoke often bring up these “fact” that they’ve heard about smoking pot. You don’t realise how rediculous they sound to someone who does have experience with pot.
On a list of drugs pot would be somewhere above caffine. Drugs you buy off the shelf at walmart are more dangerous than pot. If we tolerate alcohol (drunk driving, broken familys, Addiction, Violence) then why would we come down so hard on an all natural drug that has mild effects and does not destroy lives like alcohol.
And to any so called expert that wants to argue with me. Iv’e smoked for years you can try to educate me about what it is im doing to my self but I know for a fact that you are completely full of shit.
I’m all about the “Legalize, regulate, educate, medicate” Marijuana is so useful, and so harmless. This is nature’s magic medicine, show me another drug that can be used to help patients with depression, AIDS, OR Cancer. Compare that to the thousands of prescription drugs that we see advertised on TV everyday.
It seems that some drug is approved daily for the smallest ailment… “Do you ever have to pee?” Of course I do!! And then follow that up with the list of “side effects” from the drug. Sorry pharmaceutical companies but in my opinion amnesia, stroke, and thoughts of suicide are not side effects, they’re new illnesses.
I would certainly be in favor of trading in those scary “legal” drugs for our good friend pot, whose only serious side effect is some intense munchies.
I agree with Becky, but I’ll take it one step farther. What about the cannabinoid receptors in our brains?Their only purpose is to process some of the compounds in cannabis.Shouldnt this suggest that we were meant to use this plant,it is part of us.It is perhaps the greatest gift to mankind second only to life it’s self. From the healing properties the nutritional value and endless other benifits right to the high it is a great gift. And to anyone who thinks this wonderful plant should be erradicated, you can explain it to your creator(s)when you meet!
I say legalize it…..have loved this stuff for the past 30 years:)
