This fryer makes up to 2 lbs. of crisp, succulent fried food using only one tablespoon of oil.The nominal amount of oil results in french fries with only 3% fat–far superior to the 14% fat content of conventionally deep-fried potatoes. An internal convection oven heats to 338º F and evenly circulates hot air to cook chicken wings, shrimp, or spring rolls with the same crunchy exterior and moist interior produced by conventional deep fryers. I purchased the Waring Pro DF2508 Deep Fryer to replace an aging deep fryer that I have had for years. I could not be more delighted with the quality of this product. We use it for a lot of day to day items…such as making our own potato chips and tortilla chips. It heats up quickly and the oil temperature is maintained through out the cooking process. The clean up has been made very easy as well as the entire product can be taken apart and cleaning in a matter of minutes. If you are looking for a high end deep fryer I don’t think you can go wrong with this one.
