My second purchase of this model. Purchased for a friend after he has borrowed mine several times and each time I don’t get the fryer back for a month. My first fryer is going strong after four years of use. To the reviewers who complain this product gives an error message or stops working completely, all I can say is; you must absolutely not get the electrical component box wet. I accidentally did this while cleaning my old model, and had issues with the error message, but somehow the fryer came back to life. My only complaint to Delonghi would be to nix the timer function as to allow the user to set temp. and run the fryer as long as needed without having to reset the timer.

The fryer worked as advertised and the other reviews were on the money. I would buy this fryer again and I recommend it to my friends. The fryer was used at a family BBQ for frying fish and chicken.
