Canon LP-E5 Battery Pack for Canon Digital Rebel T1i, XS & XSi Digital SLR Camera Review

This battery has great life, just like the one that came with my Canon Rebel XSi. It’s the same and lasts a good long time on one charge. To illustrate how long these batteries last, my original battery is 18 months old and it still keeps a charge like it’s new. I can take my camera on a long weekend trip and take over 5,000 (flash & non-flash) photos and still have half the charge left. I like that it comes packaged with a plastic guard for the bottom of the battery. I just slipped a rubber band around it to keep it in place to protect the contacts while I carry it in my bag. I purchased this through Amazon and the value can’t be beat, especially to get the Canon brand quality. Generic is just not worth the small savings in this case.
