…And Then There Was Light

Monday, August 31st, 2009

Clifford Wright and Bossco International have come up with the latest invention to make you say “Hey, I wish I thought of that!”
The Hi Beam Light Wrenches, pictured above, came to fruition after Wright couldn’t get light into some tight spots while working on under the hood of his 1985 Ferrari 308. He thought somebody should do something, so why not me?
Wright set up Bossco International, named after his trusty Rottweiler, and began R&D in mid-2007. 2 years later and many design and re-designs later, his product is finally up for sale on the Bossco International website. A full set of Hi Beam Light Wrenches runs for $99.99 and boasts many features including a rechargeable, 5 hour battery life and 50 HRC hardened chrome steel wrenchheads.

Going, Going, Gone!

John McAfee, the entrepreneur behind the world’s top selling anti-virus software, recently sold the last of his major real estate holdings in a widely attended auction. This auction is the latest in a long line of real estate auctions McAfee has set up to help pay his bills since the downturn of stocks recently.

The property, located just outside Rodeo, New Mexico, was sold for $1.15 Million. The 157 acre estate was built with Aerotrekking in mind and includes a hanger for the lightweight planes and several guest houses.

McAfee agreed prior to the auction to sell to the highest bidder, no matter how low the price was, and said that the final sale price was roughly in-line with what he had projected. In a telephone interview with the New York Times McAfee said he was relieved that the whole ordeal was behind him so that he could get back to living his life in Belize.

An entrepreneur is a somebody who has a business or venture where he or she is generally taking a large risk. Generally most “entrepreneurs” inherently fail since the word is generally reserved for those who are striking it out on their own and financing the venture themselves. The reason why people put it all on the line is the great opportunity. The greater the risk the greater return.
