“Walleye Technologies”, a leading innovator in developing microwave image-based products, has invented a handheld camera of sorts to assist workers in seeing through walls! This invention allows for maintenance workers and “handymen” alike, to see exactly where they are drilling. This will prevent the unwelcome hitting of wire or pipe when making repairs on a building.
The product uses a microwave camera, which forms images. Walleye CEO, Chris Adams, stated that, “We were able to reduce the cost of the key components from a couple of thousand dollars to a few dollars, which brings it in line with what consumers will be willing to spend.”
