Sony’s Flexible Organic EL Display

Last year, in Japan, Sony revealed the “Flexible Organic EL Displays”.   The dependable materiel was driven from organic TFT’s.   This is Sony’s new concept for the Walkman or IPod.  This product is thin, light and flexible.

They are using this new tech that integrates organic thin-film transistors and organic EL elements on a plastic film. I personally can not explain to you how this technology actually works, but it’s cool.  I stumbled upon a video of the new organic technology and it will explain all of the concepts of what makes this flat, flexible display works.
