Seagate USB 3.0
There is a lot going for the new wave of USB products on the horizon if the new USB key from Seagate is any indicator. This handy hard drive is not your typical USB. For starters it has a whopping 500 GB capacity that is unmatched in any USB of its size. It also has a 7,200 RPM drive for faster uploading and downloading of information than ever before. The size of the actual USB key is impressive as well as it measures in at less than an inch thick! If you don’t have a USB 3.0 computer yet (pretty much nobody does at the moment) you can still utilize the 3.0 features with the help of a PC card that connects to your computer through an additional USB port. If you have no desire to use the USB 3.0 features you can just put it on 2.0 mode as it is backwards compatible. It’s still pricey at $180 but when this technology becomes more affordable it will make USB 2.0 a thing of the past.
