Augmented Reality Tattoos?
![]()
So I have been covering a lot of augmented reality stuff lately because something about this phenomenon intrigues me to no end, and this latest use of it is no different. ThinkAnApp, a Buenos Aires-based software company, has been getting into different ways of implementing augmented reality technology into everyday use. They recently paid an employee to get an augmented reality tattoo. Whenever a special camera sees this augmented reality tattoo it will display a 3D animation of a dragon flying. This is no joke, all this really works! Check it out!
Isn’t that awesome? Obviously this will not really take off until more people have a means of viewing said tattoos, but that day is drawing nearer with every new smartphone released. Eventually this software will be standard in cell phones and we will gather information from stores and advertisements through this method. Until then check out some of the other augmented reality designs ThinkAnApp has created.
