I love this charger; I plug my iPod into my car on the way to work (20 minute drive), and it charges unbelievably fast; I am amazed every time I use it. I will mention that you have to PUSH this thing into your cigarette lighter; I didn’t think mine worked the first time, but I just wasn’t pushing it in hard enough.
I didn’t think it looked cheap, and it’s held up well over the few months that I have had it; definitely recommend. = )

The appearance of this charger looks better than the cheap ones, and it does the job. But I have to say it is a bit expensive compared to other similar products. I bought this one just because this one is sold by Amazon instead of from a third party vendor.

I debated about ordering these (similar in local stores were ). But decided if i was going buy one, I should buy more to make the shipping cost / unit less than the actual unit cost. Pros: Works well with Iphone 3G and 3Gs. Very versatile in that every setting, there is an alternative way to charge device. Length of cord is adequate. Self winding is a plus for cord management. I like the fire wire attachment since it doesn’t take up a USB port nor overload a USB bus with other devices plugged in. Does what it says. It is a good buy.
Cons: Minor- Would be even better if it came with a carry pouch. Spring reel seems a bit flimsy but it functions fine.
