In a single year alone , someone must have a  flu. Some people are usually treated with common cold medication they can see on the TV. But the real flu can also be resisted by consuming a particular food. that is what most people should alert.

Want to know what foods can fight the flu? a food that is good to fight the flu is food that can enhance our body immunity.

these are Some foods that are believed could help to build immunity to fight the flu

1. Foods that is rich  vitamin C, such as guavas, oranges, lemons, kiwi fruit, cabbage, broccoli and green peppers.
2. Foods that is rich in beta-carotene, such as pumpkin, sweet potatoes, butternut, broccoli, spinach and yellow peaches (fresh and dried).
3. Foods rich in omega-3, such as oily fish (tuna, pilchards, sardines) and foods rich in omega-3.
4. Zinc-rich foods, such as fish, seafood, especially fresh and canned oysters, meat, poultry, eggs, cheese, milk, nuts and seeds, unprocessed grains and cereals.
5. Foods that is contain certain fermentation organisms such as Lactobacilli, yogurt . A combination of Lactobacilli and Bifidobacteria is good to boost immunity of our body in general.

These foods are believed powerful to fight the flu infection. In the food that is rich in vitamin C and beta carotene it is  believed  contain the most antioxidants that our body need to stimulate and help our immune system  increase.

Vitamin C also could also deactivates histamine, a substance that responsible for the occurrence of colds and congestion. as additional here in,Zinc is another mineral there in that could strenght the effectiveness of the vitamin C to help our body against flu
In general, every person who followed a balanced diet do not need additional supplements. However, people who have a greater risk of infection or infected with the flu or serious side effects, should consider taking a complete vitamin and mineral supplements.

Make sure that the supplements contain vitamin C, beta-carotene, and elements such as zinc and selenium. Some breakfast cereals are also rich in selenium. If you need a supplement to the take omega-3 capsules (salmon oil or cod liver oil)  try add it with  diet a cup of yogurt a day. Use low-fat yogurt, if you fear it will push the product fat and cholesterol intake.

Do not forget, healing with food must also be balanced with adequate rest, a lot of water consumption, and not having contact with people suffering from the flu, too.
