The story we know of the girl in the looking glass, from the little book by Lewis Carrol to the sweet Disney flick. But now Alice in Wonderland promises something new and ‘wonder’-ful. Under the skillful if not demented creative care of our beloved Tim Burton this film will indeed be a trip – literally.

If you are a stranger to the workings of Tim Burton, having somehow missed such cinematic gems as The Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach, then you are in for quite the surprise. In the wonderland of Burton nothing is as it appears. So take a leave of your senses and set out through the distorted mind of Burton as he weaves this old tale in a haunting new way.
