I didn’t know that they were books first. I enjoy the fantasy of Vampires existing in our world and I think I would prefer the books to this television show. I must confess I only watched the first three episodes or so. This being the case I may give it a chance and finish it before I really judge it.

well the reason i started watching the show is because i loved the books.They aare sexy and have an interesting plot. I think the shows are good to even though they added some weird stuff. i dont think it should be compared to twilight at all. it does show breasts a little too much. The book is better at eplianing stuff if you really wanna know. I think if you got into the show without reading the books, it might be confusing and weird, but i like reading better anyway so, maybe its just me that likes the books better. not the worst show on tv

The first season of True Blood wasn’t great, it was mediocre at best, I think the main thing I like from the show is the fantasy, the fantasy of Vampires among us and a slew of other mystical creatures constantly surfacing. The second season is 100% better than the first, it has a lot more action and usually unveils a new threat every episode, I’ve noticed that just about every other episode in the second season is a miss because it really adds nothing to the plot and gives the audience nothing more to feel about the characters, but after every episode I feel the anxiety about next weeks show.
