Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Symptoms

I am going to tell you a little about chronic fatigue syndrome,  also known as CFS. This disease cause people to be so tired they can not function in their day to day life.  CFS is a difficult condition to diagnosis. It’s unsure how people actually get the condition.  The main symptom of CFS is tiredness that lasts for more than 6 months.  Any extra exertion on one’s body makes the disease worse.

Other symptoms found are:

-Fatigue-Tiredness

-Headaches

-Sore Throat

-swollen glands

-sore muscles and joints

-memory loss and lack of concentration.

-Insomnia

There is no real cure for this disease nor does anyone know what causes it. The best thing you can do is tell your doctor everything. He can prescribe medications or therapy for the aches and pains. He may also prescribe anti-depressants for any emotional pain. My personal advice is to keep a journal of your day to day activities and share it with your doctor.

Alternative Healing

Alternative Healing Therapies have always been referred to as holistic, which in turn, means natural healing with out the aid of medicine. Holistic methods emphasize on the emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical elements of the people who choose this path.  It is considered a whole body healing where its not just one point like your body, or just your muscles, or even psychological. It focuses on the whole body as one complete entity. I can speak freely about most of these because I have used quite a few.

There are many types of natural alternative healing process. I am going to list a few:

Chiropractic: The focus may be on the on the muscles within our body system, but curing that will then allow the positive energy to flow through the body, healing it completely through vibrational energy.

Homoeopathy – Channeling the body’s natural ability to heal itself and releasing this power. And I can vouch that this works.  I get up some mornings feeling blah. But I tell myself today is a good day, and I go out to do something good.  As soon as I am out and about,  I relax and sure enough,  I feel better!

Meditation: I use it regularly to clear my chakras as well as my mind and body. This particular healing therapy has been used for over 5,000 years. Meditation requires discipline.  You must try to relax completely in order to gain such awareness. There are different disciplines of meditation that encompass a wide range of spiritual practices which  specialize in different goals. Some of these may include the gaining  of a higher state of consciousness, creativity, self-awareness, a greater focus, or simply a more relaxed and peaceful mind. I can write freely about this one because I use it regularly.

Reiki – A spiritual form of alternative healing that involves the vibrational  power of touch and the healing capabilities it can perform. A Reiki master uses their own positive energy so the receiver can block their negative energy which will relieve pain.

Massage:  Massage therapy is one of the most popular alternative paths. Where hands are used to relieve chronic muscle pain and not to mention it work  out extra stress.

Look nobody likes to have a disease or disorder that they can prevent, and out of everything medically that affects Humans, Cognitive Disorders are perhaps the most preventable. People might not like talking about disorders that could affect your brain function for the rest of your life, but if you manage to do a few certain things and manage to stay away from some things. You will never need to worry about a mental disorder ever again.

Okay here is the bad news. A Cognitive Disorders can occur at any time and at any age, the good news is that there are a bunch of preventative measures that you can take to make sure you will not fall victim to this type of disorder. For starters, don’t do any drugs that may affect your brain function as you never know what kind of adverse effects could affect your brain permanently. Also, try to drink alcohol in moderation due to the effects that drinking too much can have on your brain function.

But what do you do if you either have a Cognitive Disorder already? Well there are some cures for certain disorders as long as the cause of it is known. A perfect example is a disorder such as anorexia or bulimia. These two disorders are treatable because the causes for them are known. However, if you are not so lucky, doctors can still trait the symptoms that can come with a Cognitive Disorder. It might not be a complete cure, but it will make their lives a lot easier.

Achieving Longevity

Living a long and healthy life is something that we all would like to do. Being able to feel young and comfortable at an old age is a goal that everyone can achieve but only if they are willing to make the sacrifices and follow some simple rules. If you manage to follow them all, you will be well on your way to living a long health life.

1. Give yourself a break- If you are having a rough day, just sit back and relax for a few minutes. Little breaks like that go a long way towards your bodies’ health.
2. Consume more healthy fat- I’m not saying you need to eat a Twinkie every day, but foods rich in omega 3 oils and fats are great for your body and help fight aging too.
3. Get off the couch- exercise has many benefits other than just fighting the signs of aging but it’s still helpful to get active.
4. Drink red wine- containing resveratrol, an anti-aging mineral. Red wine helps diabetes and keeps your heart healthy as well.
5. Do yoga- It’s relaxing and it burns up to 900 calories per session.

Traumatic Emotional Injury

Traumatic Emotional Injury I had a time trying to find. But from what I gather it is similar to post traumatic stress which I am being treated 5 years later after Hurricane Katrina. The is disorder stems from an event that is too traumatic for the psyche to handle which makes it difficult to get past it. It’s a condition that affects people who have been exposed to a major traumatic event is characterized by upsetting memories or thoughts of the ordeal, “blunting” of emotions, increased arousal, and sometimes severe personality changes.

It is a know injury among our vets and people serving war. They call it shell shock. They just relive that time over and over. It can affect anyone who has experienced a traumatic event, such as rape, robbery, a natural disaster( my case), or a serious accident. A diagnosis of a serious disease can trigger the disorder or injury in some people.

My personal experience after coming out of Hurricane Katrina Everything was a constant reminder just watching water in the tub. The least thing could trigger it. I was plagued by horrible nightmares. That I still have 5 years later. You can tell when my mind wonders to that place my composure, demeanor, and personality changes. It’s hard for me in just regular passing showers. The sad part is I can’t control it. I am currently medicated but it does not always help. There is no known cure for it. The doctors can only treat it since you can’t exactly extract a memory.

First what is an essential oil? An essential oil is an extremely concentrated and lavendar-essential-oilhydrophobic liquid. They contain aroma compounds from plants that are actually volatile. Some other names that essential oils are known by are volatile, ethereal oils or aetherolea, or just as “oil of plant”. These oils are called essential oils because they contain the “essence” of a specific plant like lavendar or something of that nature.

Essential oils are in all sorts of products that women use daily like soap. Soaps that contain essential oils are meant to be extremely fragrant. Perfumes also often have essential oils in them, any natural perfume you purchase is almost certain to contain some sort of essential oil. Women encounter essential oils every day without realizing it, but there are some very real health benefits for women who use essential oils. For example women can use eucalyptus oil as an anti-inflammatory and as an anti-spasmodic. There are a number of other oils that are extremely beneficial to women and their health like lavender oil which boths removes pain and improves blood circulation. Essential oils in general are good for you if only to relieve stress. You can learn more about and purchase essential oils on ShopWiki
