Michael Jordan’s son Marcus wears his Dad’s shoes and now Adidas does not want to Sponsor School
Nov 5th, 2009 by kesha

Marcus Jordan, who is the son of Michael “Air” Jordan, might have cost UCF a sponsorship deal with Adidas.

The University of Central Florida had a exhibition game against Saint Leo University on Wednesday and Marcus, the freshman, guard, wanted to wear his dad’s shoe, a pair of white “Air Jordans”. Marcus said Nike hold special meaning to his family.

Now get this, Marcus play 10 minuets in the first quarter alone and no one had anything to say. UCF wins the game 84-65 and some website made the reports about him only wanting to wear his fathers shoes and now Adidas has got there panties in a bunch and does not want to renew their contract with the school in 2010.

This is going to be a blessing in disguise. I’m sure Nike will step right up to take this opportunity to sponsor the school and work with Michael Jordan’ son. The University of Central Florida would be lucky to have a contract with Nike.

Michael Jordan has still got it! See him recently playing one-on-one. Check him out schooling this guy. He still has that pretty jump shot we know and remember.

The Visitors
Nov 4th, 2009 by kesha

I just watch that new show called “V” (visitors). I never read the book or seen the old show. I never even heard of it until I see the previews on tv. I hope the repeat the first episode because if you missed it you might be lost watching next week.

This show is amazing, and what a great story line.”V” is a story that everyone really needs to pay attention too. Even if your not a Scifi fan, you will still like this show. It had action, drama, romance, humor, and did I say action. “V” appeals to all walks of life, men, women, and  all age groups. The very first episode hit the major issues we face everyday, race, faith, and government.

The show has a very colorful cast. Elizabeth Mitchell, Morris Chestnut, Scott Wolf, Morena Baccarin, Lourdes Benedicto, Logan Huffman, and Joel Gretsch make of the cast of “V”.

“V” did not for get to add eye candy either. Morris Chestnut and Logan Huffam will keep the ladies coming back to watch.

Don’t worry fellows they have some eye candy for you too. Morena  Baccarin and Laura Vandervoort play the cutest villian, but scary at the same time.

I want rant and rave to much about the show, I will let you be the judge. I thought “V” it was excellent. It comes on Tuesday at 8:00. Check out this clip of the show, you will be hook in the first few minutes.

Lil Wayne Faces One Year in Prison
Oct 23rd, 2009 by kesha

Hip Hop’s most popular artist, Lil Wayne, faces a Year in prison after pleading guilty to gun charges in a 2007 arrest.

The 27 year old, 4-time Grammy award winning rapper, born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. admitted attempted criminal possession of a weapon in a plea deal. Wayne was arrested in July 2007 when the gun was found on his tour bus after a hip-hop concert in Manhattan. He acknowledged he had a .40 caliber semi-automatic loaded gun on his tour bus in 2007.

Lil Wayne's 2007 arrest for gun possession.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office said, the Wayne would have faced more serious gun possession charges had the case gone to trial. Wayne also faces felony drug possession and weapons charges in Arizona after drugs and a handgun were allegedly found on his tour bus in January 2008.

Lil Wayne will be sentenced at New York State Supreme Court in February.

Why are this black athletes or music artist feel the need to still carry a gun. I know the more money you have the more you want to protect it, but they can have someone else carry a gun for them. These celebrities are so rich the can pay people to protect them if they feel their life is in danger. They have enough money also to have things legitimately. Black celebrities please stop carrying weapons, just pay some bodyguards to watch your back. Let them be in possession of the weapons.
