Brett Farve Signed with the Minnesota Vikings and Ticket Sales Rise
Brett Farve, now 40 years old, has sign with the Minnesota Vikings. This news came as a shock to everyone because the Vikings and the Green Bay Packers are long time rivals, and those same rival games put Brett Farve on the map.(Not to mention his heart-felt retirement) The Vikings haven’t had a quarterback of Farve caliber since Fran Tarkenton. Since the big news, the Vikings have sold more than 3,200 season tickets because Brett Favre is coming to Minnesota. That was in only 24 hours. The team has also sold about 11,000 single-game tickets. Seats for the game against Green Bay on Oct. 5 are available only through a season ticket. There are roughly 6,000 season tickets remaining. Now, since Farve’s arrival, there are only a limited amount of seats for the preseason game Friday night against Kansas City, in which Favre is expected to make his Vikings debut.
The purlpe no. 4 jersey is also in very demand. Reports say the phones are ringing off the hook for the purple no. 4 jersey. This may be Farve’s biggest year of his jersey being sold too.
