Marley Monday’s are back!  I have missed Marley Monday so much.  I have been a little busy lately, but that is no excuse not to celebrate Marley Monday.  It is definitely time to bring that positive energy back to the beginning of the work and school week.  Bob Marley’s positive music is just what we all need.  With the current state of this world, an encouraging word or a good feeling will carry us a long way.

That’s my message this, lets be encouraging to each other and up lift one another.

“Could you be love” by Bob Marley is a good song and I found a great video too.  It has some footage of him recording the song and some clips of him playing soccer in Jamaica.

I love shopping for babies.  Baby clothes are so small, adorable and fun to buy.  A lot of people think it’s more fun and you have more of variety shopping for a baby girl verses a baby boy.

I do not think that is true at all.  You can find clothes just as cute for boys as you can for girls.  The other day I seen this buying guide with some of the cutest baby boy shirts I ever seen.  These shirts came in a lot of great colors and with cool slogan and sayings.

Some friends of my our expecting a baby boy. When my friends have their son, I seen a great shirt that said rock star that would be perfect for him and complement the style that his parents have.  They even had a baby shirt that said tax deduction. I thought that one was cute too and true.

Does everybody remember Marion Jones?  She is the former Olympic sprinter that won 5 medals in the 2000 Olympics.  She had her medals taken away for the use of steroids.  Jones also did 6 months in a Texas prison for lying to federal prosecutors about her drug use and her role in a check-fraud scam.

Jones has now shocked everyone again.  The 34 year old has signed with the WNBA’s Tulsa Shock.

Before becoming the star of the 2000 Syndey Olympics and the world’s fastest women, Jones was the starting point guard on North Carolina’s national championship team in 1994 and was drafted by the WNBA in 2003, but never played.

In a conference Jones addressed the media and said, she not looking for redemption. “The word redemption is not in my vocabulary. I’m a competitor, I want to play against the best in the world, and I know that I will be doing that.”

There was a special request this week, from a very special person, my dad, who is one of the biggest “Marley Monday” fans.   My day wanted to me to post “I shot the Sheriff“, which is a great Bob Marley classic and his favorite one.

When someone is a little bit famous or a celebrity, you can walk around after committing a crime, knowingly guilty.  Why wasn’t Jackson’s doctor arrested along time ago.  His action and procedures were clearly illegal.  If you are famous, rich or a celebrity you can practically get away with murder.

The evidence was insurmountable that Murray gave Jackson’s lethal dose’s of prescription drugs.  Drugs that were only supposed to be administered under extremely close supervision in an operating room.

Dr. Murry was clearly wrong, but why is it taking him to turn his own self in before anything is done.

Murry attempted to turn himself, but he and his lawyer’s talked it over and they didn’t want him to have to spend a few night in jail after his was booked of charges.

I thought if you do the crime you do the time.  What is a few extra days if you are pleading guilty of to manslaughter, or do they know that Murry is going to get some kind of deal and why spend the night in jail and you don’t have too.  Murry’s lawyers are preparing for a battle and they are not going to give up easily.

That’s our justice system, even if Murry is proven guilty, it could be a year or two before he actually does any jail time, granted he gets jail time.

Money truly control this world and who ever has the money, makes the rules.  Money is the root to all types of evil, only money makes you try to prove a guilty man innocent.

Murry’s defense attorney, Edward Chernoff said said in statement Thursday, “We both share the goal of the efficient administration of this process.  An arrest of Dr. Murray would be a waste of money, time and resources. We’ve always made it clear: You tell us where; we’ll be there. I’m sure something can be arranged.” Read More

A waste of time?  Why do policeman make arrest at all then?  We should just let all criminals go free and continue to run a muck.  Other criminals and law breakers are arrested immediately because they do not have the money to pay people off,  grease palms or bribe.

The system is so flawed.

The Dark Spot on Mars

Discovered in 1965, by Christiaan Huygens, a Dutch astronomer.  This dark spot Visible from earth because it lacks the rusty, redish color that the rest of the planet has.  Image taken December 23, 2009.

Colorful Streaks of Mars

Frost-Covered Dunes

After a crater  hit dunes are formed on the crater floor.  In the winter time areas in the higher latitude are cover with carbon dioxide also know as dry ice.  Image taken on January 13, 2010.

Dune Symmetry

Small materials from Mars collected in crater forms dunes.  These symmetrical dunes are thought to be formed by wind shift.  Image taken January 13, 2009.

The Floor of Hellas Basin

This contortion on the floor of Hellas Basin is very peculiar.  The land was formed by materials that flowed in the same manner as ice.  Image taken on January 13, 2010.

Gullies on Halle Crater

This image is from the Northwest rim of Halle Crater.  Gullies have form near the rim of the crater that resemble gullies on Earth that are the result of the flow of water.  How the gullies were formed is unknown.  The bright materials might be the presence of ice.  Image taken December 23, 2009.

Carbon Dioxide Ice Cap

Like Earth, Mars has deposits of water and ice on each of it’s poles. This concentration of dry ice is called the South Polar Residual Cap.  This image was taken on November 18, 2009.

Landing Site

This image is the candidate landing site located North East Srytis.  This is a safe spot for landing, not many large boulder or step slopes.  Image was taken on January 20, 2010.

Barchan Dunes

Barchan dunes are common on Earth too.  These dunes are form in regions were the wind blows mostly in one direction.

“Marley Monday” again and I’m happy that it is, I have to say I really look forward to posting a Bob Marley song on Monday.  No one looks forward to Monday’s.  Sometimes it is hard to pull yourself together after the weekend.

I chose a great song for this Marley Monday, it is very fitting for our still current situation of war and racism. “War, No more Trouble” is one of Bob Marley most positive songs.  His message was always peace, love and to unite as one.  I hope everyone enjoys this really cool song.  The message in the song is true, we don’t need no more trouble.
