You make look at the painting below and say they are nothing great. Surely they do not rival that of the Picasso, Monet, or Leonardo Da Vinci. But what if you found out that all these paints were done by a man who could no longer see.

The artist, Dmitri lost his sight during a digging operation in the forests of Ukraine, where they tried to find remains of Russian soldiers who are considered to be missing since the World War 2. A 50 year old German Nazi land mine blew up and after the explosion he could no longer see.

He was recognized as a local artist before the accident and after it he didn’t let it affect his artistic ambitions.
