Itís not often that you see big, tough football players brought down to knees crying, but that is exactly what happened on Thursday night as TSUís own coach James Webster announced to them that he would be Leaving the Universities football program. Even though the team has only 4 wins, Coach Webster still says that he is proud of them.
Websterís choice to leave was most likely influenced by the teams record under his guidance. After all, you canít expect to have 3 losing seasons and not expect some heat to come down on you.
Despite this sad turn of events, TSU did upset Eastern Illinois in last nightís game, something that coach Webster is proud of. Also, Webster is glad that his players have been able to keep out of trouble and hopes that they can keep some of the guidance he taught them in the five years that he has been at the school. His only hope now is that TSU gets a new coach soon, as no replacement has been announced yet.
