After attempted aggravated robbery charges were dropped on Monday, coach Lane Kiffin reinstated Jackson to team. “He was cleared of any wrongdoing and any knowledge at all of this situation happening, and so part of you feels bad for him in a way because he’s had to go through this,” Kiffin said Tuesday. “I know he’s excited to be back, and he’s ready to go.”
Jackson was arrested and charged Nov. 12 after a report of two men dressed in hooded jackets, one with a gun, approaching three men at a convenience store near the Tennessee campus demanding “everything you’ve got.”
The victims later identified Jackson’s teammates, Nu’Keese Richardson and Mike Edwards, as the two men who approached the car first. The pair of freshmen have since been kicked off the team and out of school, and charges against them are still pending.
This was one close call for the freshman, let’s hope he keeps his sights set higher than robbery of a local convenient store with his buddies. He appears to have much more potential as far as football goes.

If you happened to catch the latest Tennessee U basketball game last night, you witnessed one of the most competitive games of basketball I have seen all year. Even though Tennessee did end up getting the short end of the stick this time, you can’t go home and say that they played horrible because that isn’t true at all.
On Both sides of the ball, both teams played hard for the winning moment. Even though this wasn’t an upset victory, it was still close, closer than anyone else could have expected. Eventually, it came down to a defensive game and Tennessee just didn’t capitalize on many plays that could have set up the game in their favor. At least they can come home knowing that they played hard and learned a few new tricks as they head to their next game.

About 4 weeks ago, when someone would talk about the Tennessee Titans, the first thing you would think about is how they lost their first six straight games with no hope in sight of any wins. Then out of no where, Vince young come back into the spot light. Since his start, he has lead the Titans back from the grave, literally. Now, they have won their last four games and are starting to prove that the playoff power house team they had last year, still exists.
After their tremendous division win against Huston, Tennessee’s Future looks as bright as its ever been this season. Even though a play off birth isn’t likely, they still are one of the better teams with their record. All of this coming from a guy who no one though would play football again. But Vince not only proved that he can turn around a team, but he can also turn around his life. Now he looks like the all star quarter back many thought he could be. Even if this team doesn’t make it to the post season, the will still be remember for the fighting spirit and never giving up when it seems like all hope is gone.
