Mustard Seed Canada brings education and infrastructure to Indonesia

Education is power. It is the key to creating real change in the world. Education can mean a way out of poverty, starvation and disease for those in need. In Indonesia, where there is no free public education system, Mustard Seed Canada is stepping in to fill the void and bring schools to the villages.

Mustard Seed Canada is a nonprofit organization that builds schools, as well as the needed resources to support those schools, such as clean water and medical care. Once a village is up and running with a school and better infrastructure, Mustard Seed Canada trains locals to be teachers, so that eventually, the village can be self-sufficient. Education isn’t just something to be given; it is something to be shared. Mustard Seed Canada makes that possible in Indonesia.

Right now, Mustard Seed Canada is working to build a new teacher training facility that will house and educate dozens of people. They can’t do this great work alone, though.
