When you put on a Necky Scarf you will forget you own any others. The Necky Scarf is so warm and comfortable you’ll never use your old scarves again, for your neck that is.

Don’t throw out those old scarves though they can be recycled into useful items. The first item is a throw or blanket for your couch or bed. Sew them together lengthwise for a throw  or sew them back to back first and fill them with feathers or filling. Then you can sew them together for a thick and warm blanket of many colors and patterns.

The other project involves cutting them lengthwise into strips and then mixing up the strips and braiding them. As you finish each one sew another onto the end until you have a very long braid. Then you can wind the braid into circle and sew together for a throw rug or soft bathmat.

Don’t forget the obvious uses also such as draft stoppers on windowsills or under doors.
