I moved to Florida quite some time ago or so it feels this way, and well my first job I landed was at an urgent care center called Solantic. I had been working in medical for a few years in a plastic surgery office in northern VA, so landing another job in the same field, you can imagine my excitement. Little did I know that the man who owned the chain (Rick Scott) was a crook and years later (now) would run for Florida Governor! As after everyday I have my wind down time, and last night it happened to be in front of the television and honestly I was half paying attention and half texting several people at once, so needless to say I wasn’t paying that close attention until I saw his face plastered on the television in front of me! At that moment I wanted to watch that again, to be positive I had seen and heard the commercial correctly! I got to work this morning and googled this immediately, and it is true…I am still shocked they would allow this crook to run for Governor!

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Rick Scott, do your homework! Not only was he an asshole boss, he is the biggest health care liar and crook around! His hospital company paid the largest fine in U.S. history, $1.7 billion, for defrauding American taxpayers out of hundreds of millions in phony expenses. It appeared they were reimbursed for care they never even provided for patients! The company that represented Scott and John O’Neill through this scandal also represents Golden Rule Insurance Companies, an early advocate of health savings accounts, a concept that manages to find its way into Scott’s dark attack on health care reform.
Florida…ask yourself, do you want to have our reputation damaged anymore than it has been already? If this guy gets into office I most definitely think it will hurt us rather than help us! Please make the right decision when voting time comes around!
