I use this for my Iomega external drive. It fits perfectly. In addition, there is a second pouch that I use for the USB cord.
However, the case is *really* showing wear … and it is used only about twice per week. The trim is coming undone and the seams are separating. In addition, it is pilling.
Although this is functional, if I had to pick one again, I would choose a harder case with internal pockets (for an SD card, cord, thumb drive).

If you are looking for a case that has the smallest possible footprint, is well built, decently padded, and practical, give this product a serious consideration. I own two of these, black and blue, and have been using them for about 2 years with my Western Digital MyPassport hard drives. No complaints whatsoever. These are zipper free and while at first I thought that the method used to keep the contents inside isn’t very good, within a few days I had come to love it. No zipper means no zipper failures to worry about. There is a main compartment where the WD MyPassport fits snug, and a smaller (about 75% of the main) compartment where I keep the USB cable with room to spare. I would avoid using this to store something very tiny (say a microSD without its case) since there is a probability, however slim, that it might slip out. For storing hard drive and cable, this product rocks!
An unpretentious, worth every penny product.

I got this slim pouch today along with a Case Logic Compact Portable Hard Drive Case (Black) Initially, I bought this as a back up, just in case the other one can’t hold my 2 drives. Well it can and it did so beautifully and so can this Neoprene case minus both USB cables. Since it doesn’t seem to be able to give more protection than the hard case one, I used this one for something else I had in mind.
I’ve been looking for a camera case, big enough to hold my Canon PowerShot A590IS 8MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and this one happen to fit it. It stretches and it even accommodates 4 AA batteries and a SD memory card.The camera is shorter than a portable drive so the hoodie part is empty though I let the camera’s holding string out and the hoodie didn’t flip up. The only cons is the strong smell of the material, I hope it won’t stick to my camera.
