In this economy, everyone is looking for a way to not only save money, but earn extra income as well. This can prove to be rather discouraging especially if you are trying to accomplish this online. The results from your search come from Google, so if you are already use Google for your searches, it’s a major plus. So why use it instead of what you are use to, if you get the same results? Simple, the rewards. Every search is a opportunity to win virtual swagbucks, and you can redeem those bucks for real items. What kind of items? Gift cards to your favorite shops, electronics, apparel, video games, books and magazines, just to name a few.

Personally, my prize of choice has been the Amazon.com $5 gift codes, to which to date, I have redeemed 71. Just think, 71 x $5 = $355. Not too bad hunh? The thing is, is I don’t really don’t overdo it by being on the computer 24/7 to earn enough to redeem for those prizes. I use my search engine often, and I take advantage of the other earning opportunities on my SwagBucks home page. Some of the other ways you can earn swagbucks are through participating in:

• Daily Polls – answering the daily poll question.

• Games – playing online games

• Daily Deals – purchasing the daily retail special offer
• Trade in – recycle old gaming gear, cell phones, and book in exchange for SwagBucks

These are just a few ways to earn. There are plenty of other ways as well, including installing the toolbar and through referrals (which I both recommend) With the the tool bar, every time you open and use your browser, you win at least 1 swagbuck automatically. As far as referrals, for every person who joins under your referral link and is a active user, when they earn SwagBucks, so do you. Up to 100 swagbucks per referral, which can be a win / win situation, especially if your household joins. You can utilize the extra referral bonuses, and then redeem for prizes you all can share. It’s also a great way for teens and college students to earn on their own for the things that they want. Another option, is redeeming for small prizes, or wait and save for larger ones. You can even start saving swagbucks at the beginning of the year and use them to help get gifts and reduce your own out of pocket costs.

How ever you choose to use to use your SwagBucks earnings is totally up to you. The bottom line is saving money. Which you’ll soon discover as a member, the more you explore, and use the SwagBucks site. Another important thing to remember. You are never required to spend a dime to earn SwagBucks. Taking advantage of the Daily Deals, or other similar offers, are totally up to you. Personally, I’ve never spent any money in earning the 71 prizes I have received. 1. Bioshock -

I have to put this game series at the top of my list. With the elaborate themes, expansive areas to explore, and the amazing characters, this is one of the top mind blowers. Why is it as mind blower exactly? Well it’s because, of well, everything! From the plasmids that alter your genetics, to the detailed retro feel, this is a shooter like no other. From Big Daddy to Little Sister, to every character in between, this game is definitely not for the timid, and definitely packs a punch!

2. Silent Hill -

It’s pretty easy to tell why this series made my list. Just ask any of the fans, including myself. It’s location, location, location, and Silent Hill is it! The town definitely is ‘the’ main character without a doubt. However, the horror based Silent Hill has no shortage of interesting characters or stories either, to keep this series going. and going, and going. The only way to describe this series I can think of, is by saying that it’s a soap opera from hell. Everything centers around this town, and all of the characters stories somehow are intertwined, and once you’re drawn into one story, your hooked! Just keep in mind before you dive in though, this IS horror based, and it is not for the faint of heart.

3. Resident Evil –

This series has been around for quite some time (aka Biohazard in Japan), and is definitely a top contender to round out my top three. Originating in Raccoon City with Umbrella Corporation, and eventually spreading out globally Via TriCell, there is enough creatures and mayhem to keep this one going for some time to come. With the T-virus, the G-virus, and what ever else these two unleash upon the globe, I’m sure fans of horror /shooters, won’t be kicking this series to the curb anytime soon. Plus ,you gotta love strong female characters like Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, and Ada Wong!
