“Town Hall Without Representation”

The headlines in the Florida Times Union on August 20th stated:

“First Coast delegates staying out of town halls”

We regret their decisions to stay away from those they serve and those who voted them in office. We have tried for months to get our delegates to talk to us and listen to us. All they do is send form letters, create talking points for their staff to placate us, sit behind tele-town halls and repeatedly ignore us and yes sometimes they even ridicule us for speaking out.

We’ve had enough!! We say “Shame on them for being afraid to look us in the eye and hear our concerns about the direction they are taking our country.” Since they will not come to us, we will take the Town Hall to them and we invite you to participate.

Presentation by Hank Madden on the State of the Economy

Presentation by Dr. Tim Baird and the First Coast Tea Party Medical Advisory Team on the Healthcare Reform Bill

Q&A Feedback Session

Participation in sending a statement to the delegates about their lack of representation

Filming of “Town Hall Without Representation” documentary to be sent to all First Coast delegates missing in action

$10 cash admission at the door

This fee will cover the following costs:

Handout materials

Documentary expenses

Offset the expenses for The Dartmouth to participate in the March on DC
