We purchased this for a recent vacation. We travel fairly often and usually end up either carrying a separate camera bag and backpack for our misc items or tossing the camera unprotected in the backpack or a tote. After much research, we settled on this bag. It fit our DSLR, extra len, point and shoot camera, and small camcorder with room to spare in the top for a wallet, sunscreen, etc. We didn’t take the laptop out with us sightseeing so we were able to use that compartment for travel books, tickets, and printed confirmations.
I was very pleased with the bag and it allowed us to take one bag and switch off carrying it. I’m looking forward to using it on many more vacations. We did loose the buckle for the strap that goes around your waist so I’d recommend keeping it fastened or taking it off if you aren’t using it.

DMF880 Macro Controller + Twin Flash System Tumax, the brand name of a leading flash manufacturer, introduces the DMF880 TTL flash unit with built-in macro controller. I’m an available light kinda guy but every now and then a flash comes in handy and the built in one just doesn’t cut it. Being a minimalist and cheap, I just wanted a sturdy TTL unit without all the frills. This flash is awesome. You can tilt and swivel the head and it has a built in diffuser, the range is outstanding. Considering it’s less than half the price of the Pentax brand it’s a super deal.

I am surprised at the performance. I also own the Sigma 300mm f2.8. It is pretty good also. The 500 is excellent in a light weight 500 super telephoto. And not to cheap anymore. Kinda pricy. If i had it to do over again i would buy the canon or nikon version. They have many features that are better. But I already owned the Pentax K-7 and 1.4 and 2.0 T.C. ‘s. So as not being one to make a living shooting wildlife it is just exceptional for me. Don’t listen to the guys that say Sigma is second best in IQ. It is almost there with them now…
Update:
After shooting with the lens and using a dedicated Sigma 1.4 T.C. I can say that in good light I cannot tell the difference between this and the Canon or Nikor counterparts. It really is that good. It is exactly where it should be with the MTF chart readings I think. This is one product i can recommend without any problems. It is extremly sharp.
