Where to buy a fire pit

Monday, June 28th, 2010

I’ve had a fire pit of some sort my whole life. Whether it was self-dug hole with an old grill on top or a fancy Chimnea, I truly enjoy the flicker of a fire on a cool evening.  I think there is something very comforting about reflecting on the day’s events while a warm fire crackles in my fire pit.

Recently, I’ve had a few Chimneas, which are made of clay. They work great, and are kind of cool because they have the little chimney, but they tend to get very fragile if the fire gets hot. If you are looking for a new fire pit, I bought my last one from these guys.

Deadmau5, The Man Behind The Mask

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

Deadmau5 or Dead Mouse is a progressive house music artist that has been calling Canada his home since his arrival on to the music scene. Some of his most famous works include “Arguru” and “Not Exactly” both of which have allowed him to achieve awards and nominations like the Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year. He is also well known to other artists such as Kaskade, MC Flipside, Rob Swire of Pendulum, and Steve Duda all of whom recognize Deadmau5 for the musical talent that he brings to his listeners.

Another well-known fact of Deadmau5 is the costume head that he typically wears during his shows. The costume is all most always a red mouse head that is supposed to represent a dead mouse, hence where his recording name came from. Right now Deadmau5 is getting ready to release his new album At Play 3 which is expected to be one of his best to date. Deadmau5 is also expected to go on tour to promote the new album giving his fans enough opportunity to see one of the best DJ’s around at work live.

How To Go Gnoming With A Gnome

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

Gnoming, as some of you may know is the act of stealing either your neighbors or one of your friend’s gnomes from their front lawn and go about having an adventure with it. If done correctly, gnoming can be a lot of fun for both you and the gnome’s owner. So if you are in the mood for a little fun and don’t mind following a few simple rules, be ready for a great day of adventure that you and the little guy will never forget.

The first thing to do obviously is to find a gnome and take it out of the yard. After you do this, you and even your friends can go on an adventure around town with the gnome on an adventure. You can do things like go for ice cream, to a skate park, or even take the gnome sky diving if you are really felling adventurous. To be honest it doesn’t matter what you do with the little guy, just be sure to take lots of pictures after everything is over.

So after you and the gnome are done with your travels, make sure that he is returned to the place where you got him. After you do that, run up to the front door of the owner of the gnome and ring his door bell don’t for get to leave the pictures and to hide to see his reaction to them.

Sick House Music Remix!

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

If you have been listening to house music for any amount of time, this is a song that many would call a must listen. Before it was remixed by House Beat, a Youtuber and fellow house music fan, the song was originally called Russian Privjet by Basshunter. Now after its transformation into a “war remix” the song is now spread across Youtube and is considered one of the best unknown remixes today. The song was originally created for a contest that the artist Basshunter himself created in order to see what aspiring techno artists could do with some of his greatest songs, this is the result. If you haven’t ever come across this song in your quest for great music, or you are just looking for a good song to get into, your quest stops here. Enjoy!
