Google is growing exponentially, with nothing holding it back. The company that started out as a Search Engine is now an enormous company that is on the verge of taking Apple’s place as Microsoft’s largest rival. With all of the Applications, Cloud Apps, and Programs they have been making to make our lives easier, not to mention their awesome Chrome Web Browser (Which I am using right now). Their recent announcement about releasing an OS called Chrome OS will take them to the top. Google doesn’t look for the most sales or the most users, they want to make the life of the consumer much easier. Cloud Apps and a nice clean OS will sure do that. At least for me it will, Haha! Microsoft knows that they have a nice new big rival to go against. As everyone probably knows, competition creates a drop in prices. This means that you may want to wait to upgrade your PC for a bit. Microsoft will surely drop the prices for their OS and laptop prices will plummet. This is mostly dues to the Chrome OS being free and a great OS for Netbooks, since it requires almost no Hard Drive space because its almost all Clouded. Apple’s Macintosh, commonly known as Mac, may fall behind on this deal if they don’t compete with them. A brand new Amazing new Mac OS is what they need to come into play.
Keep an eye out in the next 6 months or so for a dramatic price drop in Personal Computers. I will sure keep you update whenever I see any news in the web.
