Do you think your a pro gamer? Well Switchblade PRO wants to seriously sponsor 5 gamers to go to expos and play for them. They sponsor a variety of different games for you to play, so don’t worry if you suck at WOW, but are amazing at Halo. As my girlfriend tells her grandmother and I: “There is a place for you!” Haha! If you are a really good gamer and are serious about getting sponsored and having to travel to expos to play, then visit their blog page: Switchblade PRO.  Fill out the form at the bottom to send them your “application” and they will select who to sponsor and call whoever they see that is good. Good Luck participating gamers

My desk is a mess! Everyone that knows me well will tell you, many of my readers know too. Haha! Everything on my desk has its very own little place and if its not in its place… I DON’T KNOW WHERE IT IS!!!! My grandmother (and sometimes my mom when she comes to visit) has the tendency to move things around and try to “clean” my desk….. then I can’t find anything. I am planning to arrange my room and my desk with some space saving ideas and products and I am going to share these ideas and products.

1- Magnetic Keyboard and Mouse
By installing magnets in your keyboard and mouse and by installing magnets in your wall, you can just “hang” your keyboard and mouse on your wall or you can even do it to the side of you desk or something. I may install some magnets to stuff in my room or on my desk.

2- Drawer Organizers
Drawer Organizers help organize all the papers and even the small parts on the your desk. I used to use it for papers, pens, computer parts, cords and chargers. They work well and get the clutter off of your desk. Wal-Mart has them for cheap, like $10.

3- Desk
Depending on how your desk is shaped you may have more space than others. Some desks, like my old desk, has a hutch and this gives you a lot of room. Some desks curve in a long L shape and give you LOTS of space. If you need a lot of space and/or a flat open surface, then L shaped desks are good. File Cabinets are good too.

4- Shelves
Shelves make awesome save savers, you can put all of your junk and books and papers up on shelves and have them out of the way. They are pretty cheap. I you don’t want to buy shelves, just do it yourself, get a 2 by4 and some supports and make your own shelves.

LARP Idea

Jun-9-2009

So my amazing girlfriend Ashleigh, unknowingly, gave me an idea. She asked me what a bazaar is, and I told her what it was, but it gave me an idea.

If I do organize a LARP, I am thinking about adding a shop and props, to make it more realistic. I may also make maps and some form of currency. These ideas may make the game more realistic and instead of having one event, it could trigger a weekly kind of event that can be continous. Meaning you would start off where you left of; kind of like a LIVE World of Warcraft session. Tell what you think I should do.

LARP Idea

Jun-8-2009

So David Appelman, a good friend of mine, my girlfriend’s brother and meyer-mountainan employee of Yovia, just recently went LARPing, I was supposed to go with him, but I ended up not being able to. But I still would love to LARP, because I used to do swordsmanship and I love Role Playing Games, whether its Pen and Paper or on Video Games. So I’m thinking about setting up a nice local LARP in my yard. My grandparents own a couple of acres in front of our house, which we call Meyer Mountain, and my backyard is an acre. So we have enough room to make a nice local LARP and people could probably sleepover in tents in my backyard. if enough people chipped in some money, we could make a nice meal for everybody. It would be fun. I’m going to try to organize this and I will see what I can do about having people over. This is just an idea for now, but a very possible idea. I’ll keep you posted.

(Just so you know, this picture is only a small portion of “Meyer Mountain”.)
