Q-Link Update

Jul-15-2009

I decided that ever since I put on the Q-Link my life has really changed and partially started to fall apart. Today is the first day that I took it off. I decided to see whether or not it will help at all. It sure can’t hurt….. I know that what I am doing is trying to find something to blame my spiraling life on and chose to blame the Q-Link instead of myself…. That’s the worst part about it. I’ll keep you guys updated on how that goes. I’ll get some new Tech and Science stuff up by tomorrow and that Harry Potter Review too.

I have been feeling a lot more emotional in the past couple of weeks. I miss my girlfriend, like constantly. When I leave her house, I already miss her. I feel a bit more energetic and hyper lately, but I definitely feel the crash at night. I’m not sure if this is an effect 0f the Q-Link or just me changing or something. But I feel good now, because I’m going to get to see Ash, I haven’t seen her since I brought her to go see the Fireworks at the Beach last Saturday. =/ I also just got my paycheck, Haha! I’m happy!

I was just browsing the web at work, looking for a good story and I realized that we haven’t been hearing much about the H1N1 “Swine Flu”. I looked into it, there have been 92,512 cases around the world and 429 Deaths. This is still global pandemic, why aren’t we hearing more about this? I personally would like to know about what the symptoms are and what we should do at home to prevent getting it. The media is always telling you about people who died and where, but not how to NOT die! Well, just letting you guys know, that just because the media isn’t talking about it, doesn’t mean its gone. Its still a global pandemic and its out there, getting many people sick and taking many people’s lives.

The Pampalona Bull Run is currently happening. One of the bull runners was gored in the neck and was killed on July 7th and so far 9 other people have been injured, three of them were gored. For more infor visit: Mekesha’s Message

Apparently Obama has been checking out the Brazilian Junior G8 Summit member Mayara Tavares. I think the angle of how it was filmed made it look like that, but I don’t think so. What if he is? Does it really matter we all have eyes and everyone check other pople out, regardless of their maritial status. Heck, my girlfriend flat out told me that she though that Hugh Jackman was sexy. Hah, I didn’t mind. For more info on Obama’s photo visit: Tim Lara’s Blog

I personally grew up with Harry Potter. I have read every book like 20 times each, I own them all. I even own the last book signed by Mary GrandPre (The Illustrator). I always loved to intrigue myself and close myself in my room and read Harry Potter. I am going too go see the new Harry Potter movie, hopefully at the midnight showing. I know it is going to be awesome, since the last two books were the best.

I recently found out that the last movie, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, will not be be ONE movie, but two. It is split up into two 2-3 hour movies. Both of the movies have began filming already. I really like this idea, mostly because the last book is so important and has so much information that there is no way that one movie could fit it all in, without ending up like the tragedy of the Eragon movie. This leaves room for more information to be shown and a much slower paced movie. Brilliant idea! There will only be a 6-12 month interval between the two, unlike the year or two intervaals between the previous movies. The actors are in their twenties and are filming as characters of 18 years old. Haha! Whatever, as long they do a good job.

I, personally, have not seen the “The Sound of Music” movie, but the singing scene with Julie Andrews in the movie is pretty popular and I’ve seen that before.

The 1965 movie “The Sound of Music” was an engaging story about the von Trapp family of Austria. Everyone who has seen the movie knows the tale: endearing nun Maria comes to work for the Captain von Trapp and his children, marries the captain, and then escapes with the family when the Nazis come to Austria. There are two things that are less widely known about the von Trapp story, though: one, it’s a (mostly) true story; and two, the REST of the story is that the family came to America, went on tour with their music, and set up a lodge in Vermont.

The lodge is still open and looks like an amazing place to spend a nice vacation in Vermont. For information visit the Trapp Family Lodge Website.

Weekend

Jun-22-2009

I came to realize that you appreciate the weekend a lot more when you work. I never really paid any attention to the significance of the weekend when I was in school, but I kinda realized that weekends are so important right now. Haha!

I had a nice weekend:
I made my family dinner for Father’s Day and Ash came over. I had an awesome time at the beach today with Ash. I really think that this Q link is working. I was super skeptical at first, but I really think that the Q-Link has been making me feel mor stress-free and more energized/hyper. I can’t wait to get back to work tomorrow. =D

Q-Link

Jun-18-2009

So I got myself a Q-Link. All the employees at Yovia are experimenting them. They’re supposed to create an electrical energy field around you and its supposed to make you feel and look better. I am kinda skeptical about it, naturally because its an experiment. I don’t doubt that it won’t work though. I think it will work, lets find out though… I’ll keep you guys posted on how I feel throughout the experiment period. If you guys want more information:

Yovia

Jun-11-2009

So I now work at Yovia. My amazingly awesome friend, David Appelman, helped me out. I went into Yovia and talked to his boss and I got the job. I’m going to be a blogger for Yovia and I am going to love my new job, I just know it. It looks like a very fun environment and the people look friendly and are very nice. Plus theres an adorable chocolate lab.

I have a huge favor to ask of my readers, whether you are old or new readers, please check up on my blog as much as possible. Check it every hour or so, just to see if I’ve posted anything. Or check it even more often than that, if you can, I would love that. I need to get 1000 views a week, and I can’t do that without your help.

If you want to be an even nicer person. Check out the blogs on my blogroll. Those blogs belong to David Appelman and Landis Grenville, two amazingly nice people who work with me and also need 1000 views.

Landis’ Blog: The Daily Ink
