Nina’s Green Bean Casserole!

So I gave you the mashed potato recipe and thought, I would share this one as well.  This recipe is one that’s too good not to share.  Okay so the things you will need are:

  • 5 cans of green beans (any kind you like)
  • 4 cans of cream of mushroom soup
  • French fried onions
  • 1 onion
  • Cheese of your choice I like pepper jack
  • Salt and pepper

So, let’s get started!  First pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees.  Take your Pyrex pan and place the green beans in and then place your cream of mushroom soup and start mixing with a fork. Cut onion into very small pieces and stir into mixture.  Grate your cheese over it, and mix together. (I generally use the entire block of cheese)  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Make sure it’s all mixed very well, even it out and place the french fried onions on top of the casserole.  Now place the casserole into the oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until the onions and top are golden brown.  Let cool and serve, I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.  Happy Thanksgiving!
