Steve Irwin

Ahh, I’ve been sick the past 4 days straight… I can’t remember the last time that I was completely unable to leave the house, it’s not a good feeling. I chose to spend the time that I was restricted to my bed watching TV and playing pinball on the computer, of course what else would I have done? sleep? I wish…

So after mindless hours of television, watching stupid shows like Meerkat Manor and Animal Guinness Records (which was actually awesome), a gem appears on my horizons, something that I haven’t seen in a long time and until recently had completely forgotten about. I speak only of the Crocodile Hunter, a show that I shouldn’t have to explain, a show so amazing and hilarious it brings a tear to your eye, a show driven by the legendary and once vivacious, Steve Irwin, God rest his soul. I was immediately overwhelmed with a sense of pride and fulfillment. As I kept watching I remembered exactly why I loved the Crocodile Hunter so much, his energy and love for what he did was unmatched by anyone I’ve ever seen. In this episode he was going through South East Asia surfing and looking for snakes; as he finished riding out a wave he comes up to his camera man, talking about surfing, all of a sudden he spots a snake in the water, he dives off his board and yanks the thing up out of the depths. He begins to tell the camera everything about the snake, and tells us how it’s the biggest of the species that he has ever seen, it was remarkable to see him handling this thing all the while balancing on a surfboard, but the best part was after he was finished giving all the info about the snake he kind of gets it into a compact state and rests it upon his head… like a crazy person… all the while the snakes head is dangling down in front of his nose, lol at that very moment I laughed like crazy and realized how much I missed Steve Irwin, it wasn’t a sad feeling but a feeling of joy for how amazing he was at what he did.

Anyway I just wanted to write something about Steve Irwin because I enjoyed his show so much and wanted to post some clips of him doing all the crazy shit he was known for =)

I miss Steve also. The perfect dad. He wasn’t afraid of ANYTHING. Sometimes I get accused of being too cautious…”don’t drink and drive”, “don’t text and drive” and “don’t pick up the blonde on phillips highway”, but Steve lived life to the fullest. His daughter Bindy inherited his sense of adventure and life. Anyway…I miss Steve Irwin…what a great dad.

I’m not gonna lie. Steve Irwin is pretty much my role model.

Also, Tim I think you probably are sick because you have GAIDS. Either that or Homonucleiosis.

Steve, the only way tim could get GAIDS or homonuleiosis is if you gave it to him.

LOL nice, I think Tim has GAIDS or Supergonaherpasyphilaids. Probably the latter. Haha, I’m kidding Tim. But Steve Irwin actually was my role model when I wanted to pursue a career in Biology, but I quit that a while back. He was awesome! God Rest his soul.
