I bought this thinking that it was going to be a waste of money- but there was really nothing else out there for my son for when we fly. This has a become a must have product for traveling with us. It enabled my son to eat his meal on the plane- since no one using a car seat can use the plane tray- plus he was able to play with his cars, color, use play doh, and play with his sticker books. The side pockets were great for storing all of his items and having them ready for when he asked- noo more reaching under the seat under the car seat in a tight plane to get his crayons. Actually made the flight not nearly as stressful having to entertain him the whole time. The try is soft which I felt was safer- plus it folds up pretty small- so i put the tray with his travel toys into the packaging- the put them into the car seat in the travel bag- very easy to get around the airport- and you can smooch the try into a much smaller size and put into a back pack or duffel bag.
