2010 Web Design Trend – Headers
Oversize header images are a growing trend in 2010. Since people have stopped clicking on headers as much websites have decided to try out ridiculously large images. One thing is for sure that it does wonders for brand awareness. There is no doubt that these headers are eye catching and do raise brand awareness, though it is perhaps at the cost of content visibility. The largest problem however is that there are no real clickable links in the header. Some people consider this to be a positive thing though, since people are tired of clicking on such links. For better or worse over sized headers is a growing trend.
