2010 Web Design Trend – Modal Boxes

Chances are you have already encountered many modal boxes in your various travels across the web. They are like pop-ups except less annoying since they are seamlessly integrated into most design layouts. You know the notification box in the lower right hand corner of your Facebook? That’s a modal box. They are going to show up in even more places this year, I promise you that. And why not? They are endlessly more useful than a pop-up and look very stylish and sleek without ruining your page’s load time. If you are having a hard time integrating modal boxes into your web design I suggest checking out Facebox for advanced and content loaded modal boxes. They have a great program built that should be easy to use for any web designer. If you are looking to start out with a more simple modal interface I suggest checking out Simple Modal. They provide you with everything you need to create great looking modal boxes. I suggest trying out Simple Modal first if you aren’t too familiar with web design. Try it out and let me know how you do!

If you live in a different county to them then you may need to consider
the time difference before contacting them as it might be a completely
different time of day or night.
