It is not just the hosting city of the Olympics that makes preparations for the Olympics websites across the internet revamp their sites during the Olympics. Google is probably the most notable of these web design changes and has a number of different logos during the Olympics. Google has always been extremely good about creating logos during the olympics; here are some of Google’s 2008 summer Olympic Logos.
More and more people are accessing the internet through their mobile phones. Most major websites have noticed this and have created alternate mobile versions of their sites. Your site may look amazing and have all kinds of cool features when viewed through a traditional browser, but chances are that it is going to look pretty dumb on somebody’s cell phone or not load at all. If you want to hop on this bandwagon I suggest doing it soon because this is going to be the year of the big mobile internet boom. The iPhone is quickly becoming the smartphone to have and every other major cell phone company is rolling out their equivalent. You can bet all these people buying new phones are going to be checking out how good the internet works. Find a good designer and have him re-design your page to provide all the important information with a streamlined, but visually appealing, mobile version of your site. Then watch your mobile visitor count rise!

When you are making a website it is always good to make it user- friendly for the people visiting it. So a very helpful way to get your visitors used to your website is with the use of widgets.
Widgets can really be helpful when someone is looking at or logging in to your site for the first time. Take Facebook for example, after you make an account and you log on, you will notice all of the widgets that you can get, such as games, entertainment apps, helpful guides, and so on to make your visit to this website more easy. The more widget choices you have, the more reasons a person might want to keep visiting your site.
Here’s a little how to on making widgets for a website.

Okay, out of all the things that people are doing on the internet, they are all trying to do one thing, get noticed. Doing something like that on something as big as the world wide web is no easy task. However, there are a couple of great way to get your site noticed by search engines like google and yahoo.
Make your text readable- Believe it or not, those search engine bots that are sent out to explore the web actually notice things like backgrounds and text. One thing that these bots do not like is unreadable test or text that is in a another language other than the one you are searching in. This is why you never see those Chinese web pages when you search for things.
Make your sites navigation clear- Another thing that bots rate is your sites ease of use. This can make a big difference in the way your site is rated by google
Speed- this isn’t just for the google bot. The speed that you site operates at is a big deal for those who use it. If enough people use your site, it will get noticed. Just remember not to overload it with images that slow down the web page.
If that isn’t enough info, this simple cart can help.
Search Engine Spiders
Search Engine Users
Search engine spiders love content.
Users love content.
Search engine spiders feed on keywords and this is what powers listings.
Users use keywords, and if you’ve optimized your site, they’ll find you.
Search engine spiders are turned off by poor design.

Search engine spiders can’t earily navigate a poorly designed site.
Search engine users don’t have the patience to navigate a poorly designed site.

Kickoff of Super Bowl 2010 on CBS is in a few minutes. Half of America tunes in Just for the commercials. YouTube has a special going this year where right after the game, you can watch and vote for all of the Super Bowl commercials.
Here is a list of all of the commercials (of note) – as they happen…
You can also follow on Twitter using the #youtubeadblitz hash tag…
1st Quarter
1. House built of Bud Light
2. Old lady (Betty White) playing football (Snickers)
3. Tim Tebow hits mom – FocusOnTheFamily.com
4. Boost Mobile Super Bowl Shuffle.
5. Doritos Shock Collar
6. Doritos “Keep your hand off my mamma”
7. Bud Light “End of the world”
The commentators favor the the Colts, but everyone is calling a close game. We’ll have to see how it turns out. Also heard Reggie Bush is going to propose to Kim Kardashian after the game.
After making a website and seeing that many people are checking your stuff out it’s always good to know what there thinking. So making a comment box is a should be a great addition to your site. This way you can know how to make your website better or if it’s just good enough, or maybe if people just want to compliment you on your progress. Here’s some examples of other websites that use comment boxes.
