Vanity Fare Caterers is hosting a Food Tasting Event on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. This event is for couples still looking for a wedding facility. Couples can bring one (1) additional guest free. Any one extra is $25.00 per person.
Come experience our whie glove service as well as culinary delights with our chef prepared food stations and carving stations, complete with wedding cake, desserts and coffee. A cash bar will be available. Enjoy entertainment provided by New Jersey Best DJ’s.

Anyone can put money in an envelope and, sure, it’s definitely appreciated…but, sometimes, you want to give the bride and groom a special gift. If they are an active, sporty couple, think about getting them a season ticket plan to their favorite local sports team, or a partial-season package, depending on your budget.
If you are more on the sentimental side and your best friend is getting married, think about all your memories together and you may come up with the perfect gift. You could always create a scrapbook, highlighting the good times you have shared and emphasizing how new memories can be made with your friend’s new spouse. Using nice photo albums and frames will enable the new couple to fill their home with happy memories and images of loved ones.
If the bride and groom are more of the “spur of the moment, say anything, try anything once” type, the wedding is sure to be a blast and your gift had better be, too! Think about some fun games that would accent their fun style, like a nice dartboard that comes with its own solid wood cabinet. Or, what about sky-diving lessons?

Make your first dance special. You can personalize it so that everyone will remember it. One of the best I have seen is a first dance where the bride and groom put together a music montage with little blurbs from all of their favorite songs. Then also choreographed a dance to each song segment. People are still talking about it!

Here’s an interesting idea for a guest book: Have one of the Bridesmaids or a trusted family member (maybe even a niece or nephew who is looking to play an important role) take a Polaroid picture of guests as they arrive, paste it to the pages of the guest book and have them sign below their picture. That way, you will have a photo book of everyone from the wedding!
