Last May 2009 one of gaming and entertainment software giant release its version of Wii Fit called Wii Active. The software goes head on with the competition in hopes to take away a large market share of what is becoming a huge trend in the physical fiteness technology. The Nintendo Wii brought a whole new demention to interactive gaming. Now EA Sports Active is stepping up and bringing even more features than Wii Fit.
The product has more that 20 workouts that are accompanied by famous instructors like Bob Green. One of the big difference in the Wii Fit is that strength elastic bands that need to be purchased seperatly. The big difference is in the price. The Wii Active is marked at $30.00 less than Wii Fit (which does not include the balance board).
Overall Wii Active seems to have covered the basis : cost, entertainment, famous personal coaches and more variety when it comes to working out.
