My Personal Spiritual Truth!
I grew up a devout Southern Baptist in Florida. I was in the church heavily with my family. When I was 8 I was baptized. I started at adolescence to see things more clearly. I watch the people within my congregation be holier than thou in church and do any and everything non-religious known to man outside.
When I turned 18 and my mother said my spiritual life was my own to do with it as I will. I did. I investigated all types of religions from Buddhism to Wicca. I learned a lot but nothing never really stuck with me.
Over time I thought why should I choose? I do what feels right for me now. I believe there is a higher power although I refuse to name it. I do not believe one religion is absolute. I mean who determines that? I do not think it is fair to label it.
So I chose to do what feels right for me personally. I meditate. I let my energy guide me. I have been built up and torn down so many times. I believe ruin is not a bad thing but a chance for transformation. I believe there is something out there in our beautiful world that guides us all.
